| Because of your stellar performance in The Great War, you, pilot,
get the dubious honor of joining Galactic Terran Intelligence (GTI), and continuing the battle
with the Shivans. Even though Earth is now safe, the Shivans and rogue groups from the Vasudans
and Terrans continue to hound colonized systems.
I found this much more challenging than The Great War. Interplay has hit yet another homer in the Descent/Freespace series. The story line isn't quite as addicting as the other FreeSpace games, partly due to all the secrecy and un-named names in the Intelligence branch, but if you liked FreeSpace or FS2, you'll like this one. |
